DK Heavy Plant Services is a complete service provider, and an established Mining repair business located in the Hunter Valley region, servicing local coal mines in the area. We provide mechanical, light/heavy fabrication, electrical and more to all heavy earth moving equipment.

Founder – David Komacha – Started his business as a sole trader contracting as a plant mechanic and was able to expand his business further by diversifying his team to include specialised mechanical fitters, to cater for the demand in the local mining industry.

After further expansion, to include an off-site facility, the DK Team is able to cater an increased range of mining equipment products. The reputation of the mechanical workforce lead into further areas of the mining industry, allowing the DK team to expand to include a heavy and light fabrication division, with the capability to cater for larger heavy mining machinery repairs. The DK heavy plant Team is now composed of principal leaders and technicians that are experts in their fields to manage and create an efficiency within the workforce.
